My preferred app for getting around the city is Citymapper<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n Taxis and ride share cars (Uber, Lyft, etc.) are ubiquitous.<\/span><\/p>\n The main airports in the New York area are JFK, Laguardia, and Newark. Public transportation to Brooklyn is available at all three \u2014 information is available on each airport’s website (but see info provided just below). Taxis and ride share services (such as Uber and Lyft) are also available at all three airports.<\/span><\/p>\n Accommodations are available in local hotels and AirBnBs. Sessions are typically an hour and fifteen minutes in length. The objective is to reserve at least half an hour in each session for discussion. Presentations may, but needn\u2019t, consist in the reading of a formal paper. Presentation of work-in-progress and directed, seminar-style discussions are also welcome.
