Here are a few tips about where in the neighborhood(s) you might like to grab a bite or a drink, or spend some leisure time. In general, 5th Ave, 4th Ave, and 3rd Ave (and, a bit further up the slope, 7th Ave) are awash with good places to eat and drink \u2014 it&#8217;s hard to go wrong. You\u2019re also not far from the neighborhoods of <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Prospect Heights<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">South Slope<\/span>, and <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Windsor Terrace<\/span>, each with its own charms.<\/h4>\n<h4>Everything on these lists is within walking distance of BSEC (except the things marked with an *). And of course you can always seek professional advice at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yelp.com\/nyc\">YELP<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/newyork\/brooklyn\/park-slope-brooklyn-neighborhood-guide\">TimeOut &#8211; Park Slope<\/a>, Google and Apple Maps, or whatever digital concierge you prefer.<\/h4>\n<h4>A recommendation: Come for the colloquium (Wednesday-Friday), then stay an extra day or two to enjoy the city.
